It's important to understand that forgetting or canceling appointments without sufficient notice not only prevents us from filling those time slots but also denies other clients the opportunity for services.
As a commission-based salon, we deeply value our team members' time and dedication. To ensure fairness and respect for both our clients and professionals, please be aware of the following terms when booking appointments with Yamada Nail Atelier:
Bookings & Cancellations
All services, excluding regular polish, are guaranteed for 3 days. Repairs requested after this period may incur an additional charge.
Online appointments are available with at least 12 hours prior to your preferred time and up to 1 months in the future.
Last minute bookings are available via phone calls or text messages at 206-656-7878.
You may cancel or modify your appointment without charge up to 24 hours before the scheduled start time.
Late cancellations (less than 24 hours notice) may incur a charge of up to 100% of the scheduled service(s).
Failure to cancel or attend a scheduled appointment may result in a "No Show" charge of up to 100% of the scheduled service(s).
Late cancellations and no show charges must be paid in full prior to booking your next appointment.
Appointments booked within the 24-hour period are also subject to the cancellation policies mentioned above.
As a courtesy, appointment confirmation messages are sent via SMS and email between 24-48 hours before appointments. Failure to respond may result in your appointment slot being given to another client.

Arrival Time
To ensure you receive the attention you deserve, please arrive at least 10 minutes before your scheduled appointment time.
We understand that unexpected situations may occur, leading to occasional delays. Although we cannot guarantee your original appointment time, we will do our best to accommodate you on the same day or offer an alternative slot, based on availability.
Nail Designs
To ensure accurate appointment scheduling, please remember to add nail design service when booking an appointment. If you prefer, you can also notify us via phone call or text message to add nail design to your appointment. Please be aware that nail design requests made on the day of your visit, without prior notification, are subject to availability.
Gift Cards & Vouchers
Yamada Nail Atelier gift cards and vouchers are valid for one year from the date of purchase.
Treat them as you would with cash, as lost or stolen cards cannot be replaced.
Our gift cards cannot be used to book appointments when a credit card is required.
Zero Tolerance
As licensed professionals, we adhere to a strict code of ethics to ensure a safe environment for ourselves and our valued Clients. At Yamada Nail Atelier, we have a zero tolerance policy for any form of hate speech or misconduct. This means we reserve the right to refuse service to anyone, without refund, at any time.
Misconduct or behavior that violates this policy includes, but is not limited to, the use of drugs or alcohol, making sexual comments or remarks, engaging in racism, making threats, committing acts of violence, harassment, or displaying disruptive, abusive behavior or language that we deem inappropriate.
If you engage in any behavior that makes our team members or other Clients feel uncomfortable or unsafe, you may be asked to leave the premises immediately, without warning and without refund.
Privacy
At Yamada Nail Atelier, we are dedicated to safeguarding your privacy. This policy explains how we handle your information in relation to SMS (Short Message Service) messaging through 10DLC, ensuring effective communication between our staff and clients.
